About the Speakers and Moderators:

Mindi Wells is a trusted advisor to executives who need real feedback and real solutions -- from someone with real life experience. An attorney for nearly two decades, she is the Founder & Managing Attorney for Wells Law, a firm that provides business advice, legal counsel, investigations, and training on workplace challenges facing businesses and entrepreneurs throughout Ohio.  Mindi’s clients appreciate her practical approach in simplifying legal complexities developed from years as a business professional herself.  Her no-nonsense style and humorous stories come from over 20 years’ experience in human resources, financial and organizational leadership, operations management and higher education.

When she's not talking about HR or legal issues, Mindi can be found attending Jeep events, working on therapy dog training with her miniature labradoodle, or trying every taco truck in town!

President of Associated Employee Benefits, LLC, Victoria McCoy, has been actively practicing Employee Benefit Consulting since 1994. She acquired her Registered Health Underwriter designation in 2002 from the American College.  She has become a recognized expert on Consumer Driven Health Plans, specifically, Health Savings Accounts and is a recognized speaker on the Affordable Care Act.  Victoria has been a guest speaker for the Fisher College of Business, Healthcare Women’s Business Alliance, National Association of Women Business Owners, The Society of Financial Service Professionals and National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors  to name a few.  She spends an enormous amount of time educating others on the ever changing plans and regulations in healthcare. Victoria has served two term presidencies for the Columbus Chapters of The Society of Financial Service Professionals and the National Association of Women Business Owners and currently serves on the Board of Trustees and Executive Board for the Westerville Area Chamber of Commerce.

Sharon DeLay, MBA, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, CPCC, HR consultant,  business owner, and sought-after trainer, is the owner and President of BoldlyGO Career and HR Management, LLC (dba GO-HR), a HR consultancy working almost exclusively with small and micro businesses across five areas: general HR, recruiting and on-boarding, training and development, benefits and benefits consulting, and career and corporate outplacement.

Sharon holds an MBA, as well as undergraduate degrees in HR, Education, and Communication. She maintains Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and SHRM-SCP professional HR certifications, and Certified Professional Career Coach (CPCC) and Certified Professional Résumé Writer (CPRW) certifications. She honed her professional career in the direct sales, higher education and communication industries before creating her business that focuses exclusively on small businesses. Sharon is an Everything DiSC Certified Trainer, an Authorized Partner, Everything DiSC®, and an Authorized Partner, The Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team™

Anna Gaines began her career with Aflac shortly after graduating college as the Regional Recruiting Coordinator for the Aflac Regional office in Carmel, Indiana. She quickly rose the ranks in Aflac and currently serves as the Classroom Trainer for Aflac Ohio. She is a graduate of Ball State University and lives in Lebanon, Ohio, with her husband and their 1-year-old daughter and 2 French bulldogs.

Beth Kimbrough graduated from Maranatha University in Watertown, Wisconsin, with a degree in Music Education.  Prior to joining AFLAC, Beth taught K-12 general and vocal music for several years in both Florida and Wisconsin.  

Beth joined the AFLAC Sales Team in Northern Wisconsin in July of 2002 as a Sales Associate. Beth has been a District Sales Manager in Northern Wisconsin, a Regional Sales Manager in Grand Rapids, Michigan, a Regional Sales Manager in Detroit, Michigan and a Regional Sales Manager in Tampa, Florida.  Beth has been an AFLAC Market Director in northern Florida and in Southern Florida.  January 1st of 2017, Beth accepted the role as the Market Director of Ohio. 

Beth’s hobbies include singing, playing the piano, leading church music, practicing hot yoga, bike riding, walking, riding jet skis, paddle boarding, traveling and snowmobiling.  In short, Beth enjoys participating in any snow activity, any beach activity or any water activity. Beth married AFLAC Senior Consultant, Les Kimbrough, September 5th, 2014. They enjoy homes in both Cincinnati, Ohio, and in South Florida, with their two dogs, Chocolate Lab, Nestle, and Black Lab/Coon Hound Mix, Ellie.  

Stephanie Menker is a Regional Sales Director (RSD) for Total Administrative Services Corporation (TASC), covering Ohio. As an RSD, she is charged with the marketing, implementation, and promotion of TASC’s services, including Pre-Tax Benefit Offerings and our entire Compliance Suite.

Stephanie’s knowledge in areas of healthcare compliance like COBRA, ERISA, FMLA, and HIPAA—as well as a vast understanding of regulations surrounding Section 105, 106, and 125 Plans—provides an exceptional foundation from which to consult with and advise insurance companies, agents, financial advisors, and business owners.

Stephanie believes in a client-facing approach. After helping benefits consultants design tax savings programs, she routinely accompanies them to employer management and employee enrollment meetings. This fosters a unified collaboration that benefits program design, the sales process, client implementation, and the employee experience.

Stephanie brings over 20 years of prior experience to the TASC Sales Team. She has a diverse list of previous occupations including Regional Benefits Coordinator, Regional Representative, Field Training Coordinator, and Managing Partner. She has worked with Limu Inc. becoming one of top 20 distributorships in the country (out of 50,000 total).

Stephanie leverages her creative enthusiasm, experience, breadth of industry knowledge and TASC’s growing service offerings to improve the bottom-line savings of her clients.

A late fee will be charged after 12:00 pm on the Monday preceding the Meeting.

Cancellations made after 6 pm on the Monday prior to the Meeting will not be refunded.

Are you a new member or a first time guest? Stick around after the meeting to attend the Huddle, where you can learn more about the benefits of NAWBO Columbus and how you can get more involved! Huddle is from 1:15pm - 1:45pm and takes place in the same room as our luncheons.

Registrants agree to the NAWBO Columbus photography release unless they have otherwise notified the communications committee.

All special dietary and meal requests must be submitted with your registration by the registration deadline. We regret that we can not provide alternative meals or substitutions that are requested at the luncheon.
