NAWBO Columbus RFP: Corporate Partnership Procurement


National Association of Women Business Owners, Columbus Chapter, Inc. (“NAWBO Columbus”)  is seeking proposals from companies or individuals to provide Corporate Sponsorship Procurement Services. NAWBO Columbus is a not-for-profit, membership-based organization of women business owners, with an aggressive goal of strengthening its infrastructure to position itself for growth of its membership and its corporate partner sponsorships.

Requirements will include but not be limited to the following.

Review existing  Corporate Sponsorship Levels and make recommendations for modification;

Assist the Board with Preparation of Corporate Sponsorship Benefits Package;

Assist the Board with Preparation of Demographic Pie Chart of Women Business Owners Patterns for Corporate Partners Benefit Package;

Solicit Corporate Sponsors;

Communicate progress and success with the NAWBO VP of Corporate Partners;

Proposal Evaluation

The following factors will be included in the proposal evaluation

Project Manager experience

Team experience


Consideration will be given to NAWBO members that provide proposals.


Date and time



Proposals for Corporate Sponsorship Procurement Services due.


Selection of Selected Firm completed.


Selected Firm notified.


Finalization of agreement.
Other deadlines established.

Proposal Components

Every proposal must contain, at minimum, the following:

  • A cover page.
  • Discussion of how the proposing company meets the defined requirements, as well as how it aligns with the mission of NAWBO Columbus.
  • Description of proposing company.
  • Description of services to be performed.
  • Schedule and fees.
  • Three references of clients for recruiting or related work performed.

All proposals must be submitted electronically to by May 15, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. ET.


Is there a budget for this project?

Payment will be by percentage of funds raised.  Bidder should provide percentage proposed for services. 

How can bidders ask questions regarding this RFP prior to submission?

Due to the short-turnaround of this RFP and the inability to post answers in a public forum for all prospective bidders, no questions from bidders will be entertained. NAWBO Columbus will follow-up with all bidders to clarify proposals, if necessary.

How will bidders be contacted?

The winning bidder will be notified by telephone. All other bidders will be notified via email.

In what format does a proposal need to be submitted?

All proposals must include, at minimum, the components noted above. Additional information can be included, but no proposal should exceed 10 pages, including cover letter and references. Proposals should be submitted by the submission time and date to the email listed in the submission guidelines. Documents in PDF format are preferred.
