Speaking topics: Trends and best practices in workforce and talent

Talent. Workforce. Employees. No matter what word you use to describe them, just about every business has them. Some have thousands! Most of have fewer than 500 employees, and most of those have fewer than 20. Indeed, each of us is a part of the workforce in one way or another.

What are the trends regarding workforce? What do businesses need to look out for when contemplating their talent pool? What are the best practices for attracting, retaining and engaging your employees? Through a highly engaging and informative presentation, Andrea Applegate, president of Applegate Talent Strategies will share what you need to know to stay ahead of talent trends. Customizable by audience, presentations are appropriate for job seekers (both young and seasoned professionals); managers, business owners, leaders and executives; community organizations and professional associations; and economic development entities.
