Nominate a Visionary Woman Business Owner

Do You Know A Visionary Woman Business Owner?

Whether her idea was a hugh, audacious goal, or keen foresight, a visionary business owner is one who has demonstrated a vision for success for her organization.

Each year NAWBO Columbus recognizes visionary women who have done exactly this in their organizations, their industries, and in their communities. To see examples of past Visionary women and to learn more about this prestigious acknowledgement, click HERE.

To be considered for this award, the nominee must:

  • Be a woman business owner with a 51% stake in her company
  • Own a business registered in the state of Ohio
  • Headquartered within a 100 mile radius of the Columbus, Ohio metro area (43215 ZIP code)

After the nomination period has closed, nominees will receive their notification along with an application packet. This application, along with the additional documentation outlined in the application, must be submitted by the nominee before the application deadline in order for their application to be considered for the Visionary Award. Finalists will be announced in the Spring and will be honored at the NAWBO Visionary Awards banquet, usually held in July of the award year.

Anyone can nominate (men and women alike, as well as non-members, are encouraged to nominate), and any woman can be nominated (including non-members, so long as they meet the above criteria).
