An Evening with The Women's Small Business Accelerator

Fifth Annual Dinner Welcomes Rwanda Business and Tourism Leader and Jack Hanna

The Women’s Small Business Accelerator (WSBA) is hosting its fifth annual fundraiser dinner with featured speaker Rosette Chantal Rugamba (Managing Director of Songa Africa) and special guest Jack Hanna. The event will take place Thursday, September 21st from 5:30pm – 8pm at the Africa Event Center at the Columbus Zoo & Aquarium.

This important annual event, serving as the Accelerator’s largest fundraising outreach, shines a light on the female entrepreneurs in its programs, sharing success stories, and celebrating the women’s entrepreneurial force in the Central Ohio community.

Ms. Rugamba, the keynote speaker for the event, will discuss her fascinating journey as a leader in post-war Rwanda, including running her own successful tourism company and her time as Director General of Rwanda Tourism and National Parks and Deputy CEO of Rwanda Development Board.

“I was fortunate enough to meet Rosette last year and was blown away by not only her incredible story, but her poise and passion,” said WSBA co-founder, Caroline Worley. “I am so excited to welcome her and our good friend Jack Hanna, to the event this year!”
